Sarah Jacob – Principal Psychologist

Sarah Jacob - Principal Psychologist
Sarah is the Director of Logic Lounge Psychology. Sarah has experience working with depression, anxiety, stress, chronic pain, grief and loss, and a range of other mental health disorders. She has worked with clients from a range of cultural backgrounds and age brackets, ranging from children to late adults. Sarah has a multidisciplinary background having also worked in the corporate banking, financial services and education sectors.
Sarah is a Medicare provider of Focused Psychological Strategies. She is registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency), and is a member of the APS (Australian Psychological Society).

Sarah provides psychological assessment and treatment based on the scientist-practitioner model. She uses a range of evidence-based approaches that are supported by scientific research. Her therapeutic orientation is primarily CBT, ACT and IPT based, however Sarah uses an eclectic approach when suitable.
Sarah’s passion is to empower her client’s to make change.

Fay Mullins – Psychologist

Fay Mullins
Fay has over 20 years experience in relationship counselling, couple and family counselling, trauma counselling, including sexual assault; grief and loss; depression; anxiety. Her therapeutic approach is evidence-based and includes CBT, SFBT and ACT. She enjoys assisting clients work through a process of change in order to achieve their goals.

Ammata Phathanak – Psychologist (WorkCover NSW Accredited Psychologist)

Ammata Phathanak

Ammata is a Registered Psychologist with over 15 years as a Mental Health practitioner. Ammata’s professional experience also extends further, combined with over 17 years of nursing as a Registered Nurse specialising in Aged and Palliative Care.
Ammata’s education and training promotes healthy attitudes and behaviour, helping clients and their families to cope with mental / psychological health issues.
Ammata continuously undertakes professional development and training, keeping up-to-date on the latest therapeutic practices that ultimately empower people to develop self-awareness and initiate positive change.

Heidi Ruef – Psychologist

Heidi Ruef

Heidi is an experienced registered psychologist. Her qualifications include BA with majors in Psychology and Sociology (Monash University), a Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology (Wollongong University), and Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Counselling (University of Sydney). Heidi has worked in government and non-government organisations, private practice, education and training.

Heidi has developed considerable experience in early adult to late adulthood counselling covering a wide range of clinical and general life issues. She has worked with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and is experienced in evidence-based approaches including cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, motivational interviewing and solution focused therapy. In particular, Heidi respects the role of creating an effective therapeutic relationship facilitating a context in which change can be explored and pursued.

Helping people better understand themselves and the world around them has always been Heidi’s passion. Her greatest reward as a psychologist is helping clients explore ways to make changes in their lives, assisting them to achieve their goals, and look forward to the future with hope.
